Butterfly Garden

Block 5 was finished on Saturday night

Yesterday morning I sewed row 2 together

and then the quilt top (a bit windy outside yesterday afternoon).

The backing is ready:

Was hoping to have it pin basted but ironing had to be done.  Maybe when I come home from my trip to Queensland to visit Diann.  We are going to Kingaroy (The Quilters Rest) for the weekend - can't wait!

This quilt has taken a long time to get to this point and I've received loads of encouragement and friendly ribbing along the way.
