"Night Sky" is a Thimble Blossoms design and is made with one of my favourite blocks, Sawtooth Stars - loads of stars, stars within stars. I used Thimble Blossoms' "Nantucket Summer" fabrics for the quilt top and binding and one of her "Shoreline" fabrics for the backing.

Night Sky
I made the quilt to the pattern and I'm now wishing I'd added another column to the width so it would sit better on a queen bed.
Karen used "Clamshells" and it looks wonderful - doesn't overwhelm the stars.
The backing fabric is lovely - feels like a polished cotton/sateen.
Back to sewing up some more Stegosauruses this afternoon.

Seaglass Quilt
I can't remember how many years ago I cut out these Bonnie and Camille 1-1/2" x 2-1/2" strips to make Susan Ache's "Seaglass Variation".
I asked Karen to use Clamshells for the quilting - always a favourite.
The backing is made of two pieces: Bonnie and Camille's "Shine On" and Thimble Blossoms' "Lighthearted".
Last October I finished making the blocks for Thimble Blossoms' "Night Sky" quilt and, for some unknown reason, they sat in the Pink Room until early March when I decided to sew them together and add a border.

Sweet Escape Cot Quilt
I had some "Sweet Escape" blocks leftover, so thought I'd made a cot quilt using the same design. It's very sweet.
"Lighthearted" fabric for the backing and Modern Loops for the quilting.
Before I went on my Elizabeth Hartman trip, I was making lots and lots of Sawtooth Stars for Thimble Blossoms' "Night Sky" quilt. Using her "Shoreline" range for this quilt.
Might get back to them in a few weeks.
