Sewing

I had a lot of trouble finding something to wear to The Wedding and after I had bought a dress thought I should have a jacket in case the weather turned nasty.

Two weeks before the wedding I made this jacket:

It was nice to be sewing a garment - been a long time since I've done that. It looks a bit limp on the hanger. Anyway, I didn't need the jacket after all.

Lots of secret sewing today.

Time for a cuppa then some more sewing I think.

Your jacket looks good, great colour. Clothes sewing just doesn't hold the same allure now that I'm a patchwork addict.

Your jacket did look great but I do agree with Susan. I just don't like sewing clothes anymore..

Your jacket turned out lovely indeed. I sew clothes now and then but I love sewing toys more.
Cheers, Anita.

I love the colour of the jacket and skirt! The patchwork is looking really pretty too. What is the fabric range in the middle picture? I really like its colours.
