Block 3 of "Butterfly Garden"
Needleturn still isn't great although there is some improvement. Haven't made up my mind yet whether I'm a fan or not.
The three blocks sewn together.
Diann has decided that we need to make a second SBS block this week and she's chosen another doozy ("Tennessee" - more set in seams, foundation pieced diamonds). I think it's a job for the weekend as it's too much for my brain to cope with after a day at work. I'm also thinking it's time Miss Diann found an alternative method of choosing blocks - close your eyes and point is no longer working for me. I prefer a system that chooses easy blocks and then slowly brings in the more difficult blocks (being the chicken that I am).

OK, stop showing me those Butterfly blocks. I am itching to start mine but I had to go and make that list. I need to bust that list with time enough to get at least one little block started. Yours is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!
I need to go look at that SBS block you are talking about.
OK, I just went to look at the block. Thank goodness I already did this one. It was a DOOZY!
Butterfly Garden is looking fantastic! Very pretty!
hehehe close your eyes and point to choose the blocks! What about drawing blocks names from a hat???
Your Butterfly Garden is coming along nicely. I don't like to do needle turn myself.I am not precise enough.
Oh Lynda...how good does that all look...
LOL. Everything is too hard after broken sleep Lynda and we don't have a baby at our house either. Sleepy or not, I love the blocks :)
Wow Lynda that does look great.

Hi Lynda, Just found your blog today when I saw your gorgeous BG block in a blog list - had to take a look! It is so pretty, love your bright colours - I have been collecting fabrics for this ever since the patterns came out, and now with a bit of prodding from elsewhere in blog land have finally made a start. Was also a bit put off by needleturn, but am determined to learn. Looking forward to seeing your progress. Nicky in NZ
