The design is by Repro Quilt Lover (@reproquiltlover on Instagram) and she kindly uploaded the instructions as a sew-along. I didn't participate but made the quilt in my own time. I loved making this quilt. Once I started I couldn't stop till it was finished. My nine patches finish at 3", much larger than the instructions.
This container has over 1,000 little squares for the borders. I wasn't sure how many I'd need.
Ended up with 31 left over after making the first border then the chequerboard.
I asked Karen to use "Orange Peel" and the texture is wonderful.
The backing is the yellow "Shine On" mums fabric from Bonnie and Camille and the finding is from their "Early Bird" range.
Vinnie and Daisy are going somewhere special tomorrow
This is Vinnie at his first Wiggles show - I wonder if Daisy will be as excited.
