The Wish Quilt

Started in late 2008 and my baby grandchildren's name were sewn onto two stars last night.  The Wish Quilt was quilted about 5 months ago and then sat on the lounge waiting for the binding to be stitched down until 2 weeks ago.  It then needed some buttons attaching and a little bit of handstitching before I could say it's finished.

Karen did some fancy quilting which turned out very well.

 

I've been using the unquilted top as a tablecloth at Christmas time since 2011.  Will be lovely to have the finished quilt on the table this year.
