When I made a Jelly Girl quilt earlier this year I had loads of offcuts from the jelly roll strips. So I thought these would make a great scrappy version of this quilt. I love how it turned out and I'm always happy to use FigTree fabrics.

Stitchery Sampler
Last year I bought a kit to make Figtree & Co's "Stitchery Sampler" - I love the pieced blocks but didn't enjoy making the orange peel or hexagon blocks and appliqueing them to the background. The fabrics are "Figtree Shirtings" and are lovely designs.
Scrappy Celebration
"Scrappy Celebration" is a Lissa Alexander (@modalissa) design that was a free sew-along on Instragram. Lissa is the queen of scrappy quilts - I love anything she makes/designs.
For this quilt I used lots of Figtree & Co fabrics - one colour combination for each block design. I also love quilts with scrappy backgrounds and Figtree has lots of low volume prints that work so well as backgrounds.

Sewing
Over the last few weeks I've tried to make a "Flower Girl" block each night in FigTree and Company's "Catalina" fabric and now the quilt top is together. I think I'd like to make "Flower Girl 2" one day - smaller flower blocks mixed in with nine patch blocks.

All Wrapped Up
Bonnie and Camille's "Vintage Holiday" fabrics were used for the quilt top and backing. I love the silver dot fabric for the sashings, the pretty aqua ribbon fabric backing and candy stripes are always the perfect binding.
I chose "Rainbow Hearts" for the quilting and I think Karen was relieved to have a change from Orange Peel.
One more quilt to come back from Sarah and then I will be up-do-date for a while.

Binding
Along with "Sylvia's Bridal Sampler" I will have loads of binding to keep me busy while catching up on some tv shows over the Easter weekend (in between wedding sewing and spending time with family and friends).

Picked up my sewing machine on Tuesday and finished off the Flower Girl's dress - it's very sweet.
I've been making this month's "Summer Moon" blocks and need to catch up on this month's "Christmas Cheer" row.
Tomorrow is our annual sewing day with The Girls and I've cut out "Dashing" in FigTree & Co's new "Chantilly" range to start sewing.
So many pretty colours in this fabric range.
The family is coming for lunch on Sunday - looking forward to lots of fun with my sweethearts.
