Flower Girl 2

I was fortunate to be able to purchase another "Quilt Fair" layer cake - I love this fabric - it is such a pretty range.  Hunted through my patterns and decided to make "Flower Girl 2" designed by Thimble Blossoms.

Once again I asked Karen to use Orange Peel for the quilting.

Also love the backing fabric - the yellow is so pretty.

Scrappy Jelly Girl

When I made a Jelly Girl quilt earlier this year I had loads of offcuts from the jelly roll strips.  So I thought these would make a great scrappy version of this quilt.  I love how it turned out and I'm always happy to use FigTree fabrics.

Karen quilted it with "Featheration", which is always a favourite.

I was able to buy another "Quilt Fair" layer cake from Bella's Patchwork - it's such a pretty fabric range - and decided to make Thimble Blossoms' "Flower Girl 2", a variation of her original "Flower Girl"quilt with smaller flowers and added nine patch blocks.

I love this quilt top

and the backing is another pretty Tasha Noel design.

I asked Karen to quilt "Orange Peel" on this one.

Cutting Out

I've been procrastinating lately and that has meant lots of cutting out 1-1/2" strips for some quilts"to be made in the future.

"Sweet Escape", a Thimble Blossoms design in Bonnie and Camille "One Fine Day" and "Sunday Stroll".

"Rainbow Connection", another Thimble Blossoms design, in the same fabrics and loads of Bonnie and Camille scraps.  I'm hoping there will be enough to start a Tiny Nine Patch quilt.

Lots of Bonnie and Camille and Thimble Blossoms fabrics have been used to cut out "Hello Sunshine".  I've been wanting to make this quilt for ages.

Last quilt cut out is "Flower Girl 2", another Thimble Blossoms design and I've used Tasha Noel's "Quilt Fair"for this quilt with Sherri and Chelsi's "Simply Delightful" fabric for the background.

I'm making myself finish the two quilt tops underway now before I start one of these new quilts.
